MsRoobeee - A Simming Addict
My original TS2 sim-me with my kids
I have been playing The Sims for many years. Like most people, I started with original, The Sims. With each expansion pack my obsession grew.
Just when I thought I had overcome my addiction, The Sims 2 came out and I was hooked once again. As before, the cravings subsided and I was once again able to function in the craziness called ‘real life’. Ah, but we all know that couldn’t last!
I ‘wandered’ around the official EA The Sims 2 website… from there it was only a matter of time before I learned of the wonderful yahoo challenge websites such as the Prosperity Challenge Group where I have met some wonderful people and later I meandered over to TS2challenges where I have met more wonderful people… as if that weren’t enough I am a member of MagicBeansSims and LL where I have met some of the wackiest and loveliest bunch of ladies… erm and a man… sorry ‘Oh Shiny One’.
Challenges are wonderful things, from Legacy to Prosperity to Toddler Mania. Mini challenges to epic challenges and everything in between. The shininess of TS2 has not faded yet EA has done it again! While The Sims 3 will never replace TS2, I must say it’s going to be a fun ride! I have started a couple of legacy challenges and unfortunately only finished one of my current challenges. Ah well. At least I’m having fun!
I have found that I enjoy various challenges and do better at playing them together than one at a time. I get bored and the challenge fails. I also enjoy telling about my experiences within my blogs and have even gone so far as to create ‘stories’ for a few. I love my sims, I love to write, why not put the two together? Blogging them has become part of my joy of challenges. This is where I list them. I am currently working on a number of challenges.
